Online Therapy
It feels like we are busier than ever. The seemingly endless juggle and splitting of time, energy, and resources can make it hard to prioritise ourselves.
Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy, particularly for those who may have difficulty attending in-person due to physical disabilities, transportation challenges, or busy schedules.
Telehealth sessions are available for adult clients to make it that little bit easier to access support in amongst life's demands.

Emma Schubert
Clinical Psychologist
MClin(Psych), PGDipPsychology, BA(SocSci)
At the core of Emma’s work is an empathic curiosity for individuals and their worldview.
Her therapeutic approach emphasises a strength-based perspective, which utilises an individual's inherent strengths, abilities, and resources, rather than solely focusing on their weaknesses or problems, to facilitate therapy. Emma works closely and collaboratively with children and adults and has worked across various settings including private practice, schools, and community organisations.
She has conducted research in children's social functioning through Swinburne University and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (Melbourne), and her Masters research into the experience of Endometriosis in individuals and their intimate partners has been published in the Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Emma's experience working with children spans over 15 years, and her previous roles as a dancer, teacher and dance school owner bring forth a creative, playful and enriching experience to the therapy room, especially for her younger clients.
Outside of The Kind Clinic you will find Emma with her two young children scoping out cafe's for the best babycinos, while dreaming of distant plans for her next reno project with her husband.
Her mission for The Kind Clinic is to provide Kind Care, for All Kinds.
