CHILD THERAPY

Hide and Seek_edited_edited.jpg

At The Kind Clinic, families are at the heart of everything we do.

Emma brings extensive experience supporting children and parents through a wide range of challenges,

with a particular interest in working with children 12 years and under.

Emma is deeply curious about how children see the world, and how the world responds to them.

This perspective shapes a therapeutic approach that is warm, playful, and grounded in neurodiversity-affirming practice, recognising and celebrating the strengths, differences, and individuality of every child. Sessions prioritise emotional safety and comfort, and are designed to feel fun, engaging, and uplifting.

We work collaboratively with parents to build understanding, strengthen family systems,

and create strategies that genuinely work at home and school.

Our goal is to make therapy a clear, supportive process where children feel seen, parents feel empowered, and progress is shared.

Emma assists with a variety of challenges and concerns, including:

  • Anxiety (e.g. persistent tummy aches and headaches, worries, specific fears, mood swings),

  • Depression (e.g. negativity, irritability, withdrawal, lack of enjoyment in usual activities, persistent changes in mood),

  • ADHD, Autism and other Neurodivergence

  • Emotional Dysregulation

  • Physiological Discomfort

  • School Can't, After School Restraint Collapse

  • Trauma

Our Family Centred Model

Children thrive when the adults around them feel informed, supported, and confident.
Meaningful change happens when children, parents and therapists work together.
